Global Changes: Doors

Contains controls used to identify door data for which to apply global changes. The global changes can be enabled or restricted using the available controls.



Note: The door properties listed here are properties that were defined for the project that the selected rooms were created in or for all projects using the controls found on Defaults Manager’s Constructions Defaults panel.

Door type When on, the door construction type can be changed globally for the selected rooms.
  • New data — Used to select a new door construction type. The project's available door construction types are listed. The door construction type selected here is the door construction type the selected rooms will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by selecting a door construction type to omit from the global change. The door construction type selected here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing door properties. If the data check finds the same door construction type, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
Door height When on, the door height property can be changed globally for the selected rooms. Door height refers to the height measured from the room floor to the top of the door.
  • New data — Used to enter a new door height value. The door height value entered here is the door height the selected rooms' design will be globally changed to when the Apply button is clicked.
  • Restrict changes — When on, the changes can be restricted by entering a door height value to omit from the global change. The door height value selected here will be checked for in the selected rooms' existing door properties. If the data check finds the same door height value, the room is omitted from the global change when the Apply button is clicked.
Tip: Units Display – Units are displayed using the default system of units that was defined for the project, but can be changed to display using alternative units.
